Veruca Salt Sign To Outpost

Veruca Salt's next album will be released by the newly
formed Outpost Records, according to Outpost co-founder Scott Litt. The group
is moving over from Geffen. It's not clear yet whether Steve Albini, who
recently wrapped work on an EP that will be the Veruca Salt's last Geffen
release, will handle production chores on the new album. Good bet that it will
be out in late '96. Outpost is a brand new label started by Litt, former manger
Andy Gershon and former Virgin Records A&R man Matt Williams.
