Jessica Simpson, No Authority To Take "Tour For A Cure"

Jessica Simpson and No Authority are among the artists set to participate in "Bogart Backstage: On Tour For A Cure," a special benefit for pediatric AIDS, cancer, and leukemia research being held in Santa Monica, California, on November 19.

Youngstown, Innosense, and Son By Four are also confirmed for the event, which is set for at Barker Hangar and being organized by the Neil Bogart Memorial Fund, a Los Angeles-based division of the T.J. Martell Foundation.

Multiple stages at the benefit will feature continuous music from the artists, while choreographers from 'NSYNC's tour and The Gap television ads will be on hand to teach dance steps from recent music videos. Audition booths, green rooms, and a variety of games and activities are also being planned, all of which will reflect the backstage theme of the charity event.

Cast members from such programs as "Popular," "That '70s Show," "Felicity," "Saved By The Bell" and "V.I.P" are also expected to

come out for "Bogart Backstage," which will be hosted by Amanda Bynes of Nickelodeon's "The Amanda Show.

As part of the fundraiser, the Neil Bogart Memorial Fund will present its 2000 Children's Choice Award to Mike Shalett, the COO of SoundScan and VideoScan, in honor of his continued commitment to children's issues, as well as his patronage of both the T.J. Martell Foundation and the Bogart Fund.

Tickets for "Bogart Backstage: On Tour For A Cure" are $100 for children and $150 for adults, with family passes for four available for $500. Interested parties can also donate $100 to the Fund, which will sponsor a child from the Children's Hospital Los Angeles to attend the all-day event.
