In the unlikely event that your mind was still un-made-up as to whether Bill Cosby is or is not a serial rapist, the last, tattered shred of ambiguity on the issue just evaporated: He is, by his own admission.

Court documents from a 2005 case against Cosby, which the comedian settled at the time and which the AP obtained over objections from Cosby's lawyers, revealed that he testified under oath to having obtained Quaaludes and sedated at least one woman in order to have sex with her.

This is news that should be shocking to basically no one, but Judd Apatow -- who was one of only a few celebs to outright condemn Cosby and call for the cancellation of his tour as soon as the allegations surfaced -- summed it up best in a comment to Esquire:

"I don't think there is anything new here. It is only new to people who didn't believe an enormous amount of women who stated clearly that he drugged them," Apatow said. "We shouldn't need Bill Cosby to admit it to believe forty people who were victimized by him."

Apatow finished by expressing hope that Camille Cosby and Phylicia Rashad, who initially chose to stand by Bill Cosby in the wake of the snowballing allegations, would take this opportunity to admit that they were wrong. So far, both women have been silent.
