Zara Larsson’s Cover Of Drake And Rihanna’s ‘Too Good’ Is … Well … Too Good

The magic of the Live Lounge strikes again

Drake and Rihanna’s steamy collab “Too Good” is good, but it’s not too good that it can’t be reinvented.

Enter Zara Larsson, a recent VMA Best New Artist nominee whom you probably know from her hits “Never Forget You” and “Lush Life.” The Swedish singer popped into BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge today (September 20), where she unleashed her “Too Good” cover, accompanied by a full band and two backup singers who gorgeously harmonized with her. The duet isn’t quite as dramatic as a solo number, but Larsson spiced it up with a slower, snap-heavy chorus and a passionately delivered ending.

Along with her Drake and RiRi cover, the 18-year-old also performed her most recent single, “Ain’t My Fault,” successfully reproducing the sauciness and DGAF ’tude of the original. Check out both performances below.
