Monica is set to make her grand entrance into the fashion world in Paris, France, this week at the invitation of the House of Chanel and Karl Largerfeld.

The singer is currently in the middle of a four-day series of meetings with the renowned fashion house and designer. Her itinerary includes tapings of her wardrobe selection from the Chanel Boutique for MTV and Fashion Television.

As part of the fashion tour, Monica will also attend the showcase of Chanel's Spring/Summer Ready-To-Wear Collection at the Opera National de Paris Bastille and the post-show dinner at Bains Douche on Friday night.

Back home, Monica's new single, "The First Night," will reclaim the top ranking spot on next week's "Billboard Hot 100 Singles" chart.
