'Justice League: Doom' Cast Includes Nathan Fillion, Kevin Conroy

by Tami Katzoff

If you’ve ever reminisced about the “Justice League” TV show and thought “Gosh, wouldn’t it be cool if the original voice cast reunited for another awesome JL project?” – then we’ve got news for you. Kevin Conroy (Batman), Michael Rosenbaum (Flash), Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman) and Carl Lumbly (J’onn J’onzz/Martian Manhunter) will all be reprising their roles in a new DC Universe animated movie, “Justice League: Doom.”

But it gets better: joining the original group will be Tim Daly, the voice of Superman, and current geek god Nathan Fillion, in his new gig as the animated Green Lantern (first seen in the recent release “Green Lantern: Emerald Nights”).

“Justice League: Doom” is the final script from the late Dwayne McDuffie (“All-Star Superman” and “Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths”). It’s due from Warner Home Video next year, but early birds can catch a trailer at New York Comic Con on October 14th.

Fillion fans should doubly rejoice because the graphic novel “Castle: Richard Castle’s Deadly Storm” was released earlier this week. A joint venture of Marvel Comics and ABC Studios, “Deadly Storm” features adventure-loving Derrick Storm, a character created by the novelist Richard Castle, a character portrayed on TV’s “Castle” by Nathan Fillion. Confused? It doesn’t matter – the press release promises “Action! Suspense! Intrigue!” and that’s really all you need.
