It's good to know that no matter how famous you get, the mortifying stuff that goes down in your teenage years can leave a lasting impression that makes you blush and cringe in adulthood.

Mandy Moore just revealed that a run-in with one of her absolute favorite artists backstage at a show 16 years ago is one of those moments, and, girl, we feel for you — and your "big feet."

On The Late Late Show with James Corden, Moore recalled one of her earliest "big" gigs as a pop singer, which involved opening for NSYNC when she was 15. She adored Justin Timberlake (as did, like, every other teen in America at that time), and when she stumbled into a backstage conversation, he noticed her in a way that stuck with her. Forever.

"Somehow, there was a conversation about feet, or foot size," Moore said. "I stroll up at fifteen, like, freaking out that Justin Timberlake is there, and he's like, 'You have big feet for a girl!'" Cue freakout.

"I'm sure he doesn't remember this at all, but I was so impressionable," she continued. "I thought the world of him. He was on a pedestal. I mean, sixteen years later, it stuck with me, so it really scarred me emotionally." D'aw. Turns out she can't stop the feeling of complete and total humiliation. (Sorry.)
