True love does exist, and it was found at a Hot Topic in Hollywood this weekend, between the rows of fishnet gloves and studded belts.

Punk rock titans Green Day were at the store to meet fans, promote their No. 1 album Revolution Radio... and unsuspectingly witness an engagement. One crafty dude strategically waited until he and his girlfriend got to the front of line, then knelt on one knee and popped the question, right in front of the band. She said “I Dookie” (well, not verbatim, but you get the gist) and everyone cheered as Billie Joe Armstrong observed, “That was amazing. Unreal. Thank God she said yes.”

Here’s hoping the happy couple have the time of their lives as a married duo.
