After Billboard confirmed that A Seat at the Table went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, she expressed her joy — and appreciation — on Twitter.

She then went on to thank her collaborators on the effort, and to speak to how the album impacted her growth not only as an artist, but as a person: A Seat has proven to be a necessary listen, but it was a necessary effort from Solange with a profound emotional and spiritual footprint, too.
