Miley Cyrus Shares A ‘Magic Jam Sesh’ With Her Dad

Their duets are always unforgettable

When Miley Cyrus and her dad, country legend Billy Ray, team up for a song, you know it's gonna hit you right in the feels. Take “Ready, Set, Don't Go” from Disney Channel's Hannah Montana, for example. Or “Butterfly Fly Away” from the movie. Both songs are about a girl growing up while still staying true to her roots.

Their latest duet, which Miley shared on Instagram today, is even more heart-wrenching. She plays the piano; he accompanies her on the guitar. Together, they sing “How've Ya Been,” an unreleased song written by Billy Ray in honor of his best friend who committed suicide.

“If only you knew how much I miss you / If only you knew how much I care,” they sing. September was Suicide Awareness Month, but as Miley reminds us, the “fight for love and acceptance” never ends.
