Solange Reveals Gorgeous Videos For ‘Cranes In The Sky’ And ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’

The first visuals from ‘A Seat At The Table’ are living works of art

Solange has followed up on her Instagram teasers with not one but two new videos for songs from her new album, A Seat at the Table.

“Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair” get beautiful visuals that play out almost like living paintings. Both were directed by Solange and her husband, Alan Ferguson.

At least one shot from “Don’t Touch My Hair” seems to have been inspired by an actual painting: London artist Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s 2013 work “Complication.”

“Cranes in the Sky,” meanwhile, features that yarn dress Solange modeled on Instagram a month ago. It turns out she’s already been teasing these videos for weeks.

A few recent Instagram clips don’t appear in the pair of new videos, which seems to suggest that Solange might have even more visual work on the way.
