JoJo And Remy Ma Have Zero Patience For ‘Fake Ass Bitches’ On Their Fiery New Song

Hey, haters: Leave. Get out. 👋

Contrary to what you might assume, JoJo and Remy Ma’s fiery new song “FAB” isn’t a Sharpay Evans–esque ode to fabulosity. Rather, it’s a verbal takedown of the “fake ass bitches” who dare cross their paths.

Comeback kid JoJo has moved way beyond light commands like "leave, get out" and has graduated to full-on blasting with lyrics like, “Fake ass bitches / When they smiling in your face but behind you but there ain’t well wishes / When they eating all the food off your plate and don’t do dishes.” Hip-hop titan Remy Ma is on the same page, dropping a few flawless bars that leave no room for interpretation: “It’s not a compliment when I say you FAB / You just a F-A-B with your fake ass, bitch.” She also coins the term “fraud broads,” which is praise-worthy all on its own, TBH.

In an email to The Fader, JoJo explained that "FAB" doesn’t just apply to girls. “This song is very direct,” she said. “We’ve all encountered fake ass bitches, no matter the gender. So I wrote a song about it, calling them out but also celebrating the real ones.”

“FAB” is the third taste of JoJo’s upcoming third album, Mad Love, which arrives October 14. She previously released the Wiz Khalifa–assisted single “Fuck Apologies,” and followed up with the soulful title track.
