Phantogram, Tove Lo, and Bebe Rexha Set The Bar High At Our Pre-VMA Concert

Last night, Taco Bell held a pre-VMAs show at Terminal 5 hosted by Travis Mills, featuring Tove Lo, Bebe Rexha, and Phantogram. Travis Mills was the ultimate emcee who introduced each performer with a ton of energy and grace. Up first was New York native Bebe Rexha who curbed her cursing for the night and sang anthemic hits like “Take Me Home” and “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You.”

Following her performance, Phantogram took the stage with dark, moody hits like “You Don't Get Me High Anymore” and “Black Out Days.”

Finally, Tove Lo closed out the night with a dynamic set including a new track, “Cool Girl,” which makes sense for her since she’s the ultimate cool girl.

The event also highlighted Taco Bell's Live Más Scholarship by having four of the winners put their passions into play to help with the execution of the event. Scholarship winners included Mia, a designer, Olivia, an illustrator, Emma, a photographer, and Grayson, a sound technologist. From signage to wardrobe, the winners worked with MTV staff to put on an event that was all about music, food, and heart.

Emma, one of the Live Más Scholarship winners, photographed the event, and you can see some of her photos here.

Don't worry if you missed Phantogram's set. They'll be playing the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on October 22nd!
