Catelynn and Tyler have documented their evolving relationship with their firstborn Carly's parents since 16 and Pregnant and subsequently through the years on Teen Mom OG. But during tonight's episode, Teresa and Brandon made a decision about their involvement with the long-running series: Carly's mom told Cate that she didn't want her conversations with the young parents to be featured on the program.

Now that the privacy request has been made, how is Cate adjusting to this new type of communication?

"I think it's difficult learning how to navigate what I'm saying around the cameras. I know that I'm allowed to say some things, but not really talk in too much detail," Cate reveals in the clip above while adding that she is doing the "best she can to not upset anybody."

While the Michigan native did her best to understand Teresa and Brandon's needs in order to not jeopardize seeing Carly, her longtime love had difficulty comprehending this decision (specifically, he didn't want to be told what to say and what not to say).
