Dozens Injured At Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg Concert After Railing Collapses

The rappers were on their High Road tour stop in Camden, New Jersey

The railings at Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s Camden, New Jersey, tour stop couldn’t contain the crowds on Friday night (August 5), and collapsed, resulting in several injuries, a prematurely ended show, and a frightening moment for both the artists and fans.

Several crowd-shot clips capture the crush, which took place around 10:30 p.m. ET, just feet from The High Road co-headliners, Snoop and Wiz, who were performing together onstage at the time of the incident. In video posted by Karen Civil, there's barely a breath between the drop of the beat, the collapse of the railing, and the wave of concertgoers that tumble over the edge of the lawn of the BB&T Pavilion and into the expanse that separates the crowd from the stage.

Security can be seen hurrying the rappers off the stage, and Snoop can be heard telling the crew to cut the music with, “That’s enough of that.” The show was brought to an early end as police and medics assessed the damage.

One of the 42 reported injuries was critical, and another 15 landed concertgoers in the hospital for the treatment of broken bones, bumps, bruises, and the like, Philadelphia’s NBC10 reports.

Snoop and Wiz are in the midst of the High Road tour, which will proceed to Mansfield, Massachusetts’s Comcast Center, on August 6 and continue through August 23.
