Fourteen years after Vin Diesel’s jacked adrenaline junkie Xander Cage wreaked havoc all over xXx, he’s back for the franchise’s third chapter. And as for what to expect this time around, Diesel’s costar Ruby Rose sums it up best: “Guns. Girls. Global domination.”

Those are the three pillars of the first official trailer for xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, which picks up with the titular hero coming out of his self-imposed exile. Samuel L. Jackson also returns as Agent Augustus Gibbons, who perfectly breaks down Xander’s duties as a new government operative: “Kick some ass, and try to look dope while you do it.”

The rest of the trailer is soundtracked by a remixed version of “Voodoo Child” and packed with death-defying stunts, like Xander skateboarding on the side of a moving vehicle and skiing through a jungle (yes, a jungle). There are also fleeting glimpses of his costars, including Rose, Nina Dobrev, and Toni Collette, who tells him, “We need someone who can walk into a tornado and come out the other side like it was a damn gentle breeze.” Yep, that’s Xander to a T.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage hits theaters on January 20, 2017.
