Is Jay Z Taking Shots At Drake On ‘I Got The Keys’?

Of course

Welcome to Jay Z versus Drake in Subliminals, Round I Lost Count.

That's we have with "I Got the Keys," DJ Khaled's new single, which features two verses from Hov and a hook from Future, as well as cameos from a slew of star rappers in the video.

"N***as always asking me the key / Till you own your own, you can't be free / Till you're on your own you can't be me / How we still slaves in 2016?" Jay raps to open his first verse.

Thinking back to Drake's January single "Summer Sixteen," this comes across as a not-so-thinly-vieled response. "I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay," Aubrey raps on the track, which didn't end up on his April album, Views.

This, of course, is far from the first time these two have fired subliminal jabs at one another. Aubrey may have added some extra fuel to the fire, too, when he took Jigga's brief appearance on Views off the album.

Dedicating the opening of "I Got the Keys" to the issue, though, wasn't enough for Jay. He called back to Drake's claims in the second verse, too, and got even more pointed: "Real life I'm like Hov / Real life I'm life goals / In real life they're like me? / In real life I'm like, ‘No.'"

Your move, Drake.
