In response to the mass shooting in Orlando on June 12, a cornucopia of Broadway stars -- including current heavyweights Lin-Manuel Miranda and Sara Bareilles -- have banded together to record a beautiful rendition of Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "What the World Needs Now Is Love."

Playbill captured the recording process and created a music video featuring stars Kristen Bell, Sean Hayes, Whoopi Goldberg, Idina Menzel, Wayne Brady, and more giving a powerful, heart-wrenching performance. All the the proceeds from the recorded single, available now via Broadway Records, will go to the LGBTQ Center of Central Florida.
