17 Picture-Perfect Met Gala Couples Who Slayed The Red Carpet
On Monday night (May 2), the biggest names in entertainment hit the red carpet at the annual Met Gala in New York City. This year's theme was "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology," which made for some creative and out-of-this-world outfits.
Some artists showed up all by their badass selves (Beyoncé! Rachel McAdams!), while others came hand in hand with their significant other or spouse (Zayn and Gigi! The Weeknd and Bella!)
Here are all the couples who ruled the 2016 Met Gala red carpet with their picture-perfect relationships.
The Weeknd and Bella Hadid
When in doubt, wear black.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
We can't look away from Kanye's piercing, blue-eyed gaze.
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik
Is it weird holding hands with a robot, Gigi?
Hannah Davis and Derek Jeter
Apparently gazing longingly into your lover's eyes was the pose of the night.
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman
Only Nicole Kidman could pull off a bedazzled cape.
Keleigh Sperry and Miles Teller
Turns out navy DOES go with black.
FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson
Slayyyy!
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom
The duo struck their power poses separately, but they wore matching Tamagotchis. This signals a bond much deeper than an engagement ring could ever represent.
Kate Hudson and Lady Gaga
OK, they're not technically a couple, but they took tons of red carpet pics together. Look how fierce they look together! We ship it.
Hugh Dancy and Claire Danes
Danes is Cinderella IRL. Except her dress glows in the dark, which ups the cool factor by, like, a gazillion.
Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble
Again, you literally can't go wrong wearing black.
J.J. Abrams and Katie McGrath
Seriously, all black, all the time.
Stephen Colbert and Evelyn McGee-Colbert
But then again, Orange Is the New Black. (Sorry, not sorry.)
Michael Polish and Kate Bosworth
Look at those smizes! Smizing = smiling with your eyes, ICYMI.
Christine Taylor and Ben Stiller
No blue steel faces here.
Mark Ronson and Joséphine de La Baume
Lookin' good, you guys.
Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego
Because the red carpet is the perfect place for some PDA.
