When Meek Mill dropped "Trap Vibes" last week, his remix of Drake's "Summer Sixteen" and Desiigner's "Panda," there were some questions about what it could mean for his future. In a ruling where he was sentenced to house arrest earlier this year, he was barred from releasing new music. So was this a violation?

Apparently, it was not.

According to TMZ, two weeks after the initial sentencing, Meek was given some clarity on the music release front. In order to "protect his brand," he'd be allowed to drop new joints for free, like he did with "Trap Vibes," which was posted on Soundcloud -- but still can't sell anything.

In early February, Meek was sentenced to 90 days house arrest for a parole violation, which will end next month.
