At a press conference for Pitch Perfect 2 last May, Rebel Wilson said that her and Adam Devine’s sloppy makeup sesh in the film had to be cut short, and they were disappointed because “we were going for an MTV Award Best Kiss. It’s all about the trophies!”

Fast forward almost a year, and Wilson and Devine’s wildest dream has come true: They were deservedly prized the Best Kiss trophy at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. And to celebrate their victory, they recreated their messy but momentous onscreen makeout, appropriately soundtracked by Pat Benatar's "We Belong." Check out all of the lovin' above.

After Wilson denounced Devine's "cabbage patch face and his tight little bubble butt" -- and he retaliated by insisting they have "none, zero, zilch" sexual chemistry -- they gave into their true desires and turned the Movie Awards stage into their paradise and their war zone.
