Chris Pratt on 'Guardians of the Galaxy': Like Nothing Else

"Guardians of the Galaxy" may have only had a handful of shooting days so far, but the cast is already confident that they have something awesome on their hands.

Stars Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana caught up with MTV News' Josh Horowitz at San Diego Comic-Con, where the cast made a surprise appearance at the Marvel panel between shooting days in London.

Pratt, who plays Starlord, said that though the movie is "still high stakes, it's still a great adventure," it will be totally different than other superhero movies.

"You understand the structure if you watch a lot of hero movies: The origin of who these guys are, the dilemma, the bad guy, the big speeches," Pratt said. "People kind of know what to expect. This movie, I think, takes what you expect and then it flips it a little bit and it's funny because it's ironic. You know, like, I think that's how comedy works, really."

The attention to detail and fantastic sets don't hurt either.

"I feel like I'm in a multi-million dollar aquarium every day."

"Guardians of the Galaxy" is slated for an August 1, 2014 release.
