'Anchorman 2' Trailer: 'The Legend Continues' Into the '80s

"Welcome to the '80s, baby!"

Those sweet, make-a-wolverine-purr sounds of Ron Burgundy and his rowdy little rag team are finally back to business in this first not-just-chattery "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" trailer.

Thanks to the burgeoning prolificacy of all-night news station, San Diego's former finest The Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and his posse Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and Champ Kind (David Koechner) are suddenly employable again.

It sure does feel right.

Also jiving are Ron and a new lady friend (Meagan Good) — evidently, that little Ron & Veronica reconciliation could only hold out for so long, though blondie does make a glamorous little showing in the trailer. This new matching offers up ample opportunities for some, um, pretty painful dinner table kerfuffling on the newsman's part.

Awkward!

Brick, too, has met his equal via one super strange Kristen Wigg character, whose badly-permed head says things like "I like the parts of your face that are covered with skin." Match made in Heaven, right? Okay, no, definitely not there.

It's taken the better part of a decade for this news-slinging quartet to reunite, but it looks like the Burgundy faithful will not be disappointed come Dec. 20 when this badboy hits theaters.

Best to go ahead and start growing out those sick mustaches — as modeled on the latest poster for the flick by none other than Ron Burgundy — now then, fellas.
