Seth Rogen Thinks 'Guilt Trip' Is Best Seen on Airplanes

They say Hollyweirdos shouldn't s**t on their past work, because of that whole goes-around-comes-around thing, but man oh man is it hilarious when they do.

Seth Rogen, for one, laid a hot one on not one but two of his recent movies, and as if that weren't enough the furry funnyman even went on to fire away at a few other peoples' stuff too.

Appearing on the Doug Benson's Podcast "Doug Loves Movies" in support of his apocalyptic side-stitcher "This is the End," Rogen candidly addressed the small matter of his box office crash and burn "The Green Hornet" and his mother-son roadie flick "The Guilt Trip."

Needless to say, he wasn't exactly pouting about those empty spaces on his Oscar shelf with regard to those two stinkers.

"We shouldn't make expensive movies where we can’t make like a million d**k jokes, that’s what we've learned over the years," he said of the dismal "Green Hornet" earnings ($98.7 domestic on a $120 production budget; ouch). As for whether he'd give a "Green Hornet 2" follow-up his time, he declared, "No, not at all. That would be a nightmare." That's another Hollywood "no-no" rule ("never say never") brazenly broken into two. But he wasn't done at that either.

Even more hilarious was his guilt about shooting "Guilt" — the biggest laugh of which was its pitiful 38 percent Tomatometer ranking.

"We shot that movie in the format that plays on airplanes only," he laughed, but didn't seem to be kidding. "And they were like 'Talk loud because the engine’ll be roaring! ... You gotta talk over the engine, there's announcements early on in the flight, so you gotta take that into consideration."

Yikes! It's as though if this wasn't for an audio podcast, he could've saved a little time with a simple hand gesture:

Rogen wasn't all self-deprecating during his cuckoo slam session either.

When asked what he'd seen last, he mentioned "Jack Reacher," a film which he summarized as being "kinda like a Steven Seagal movie without Steven Seagal in it," he took a jab at its lead, infamous Tinsel Town shorty Tom Cruise. "He’s just so little!" Rogen said. "And he’s always in that jacket, this like big leather jacket."

Little dude though he may be, Cruise demands a big paycheck. Touche, Rogen.
