Look, we dig "The Amazing Spider-Man" and all, but some of the scenes between Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) tended to be a little ... well, awkward. Garfield's constant twitching in discomfort and/or sexual excitement (or something) makes for some truly fingernails-on-the-chalkboard acting tics, while Stone's doe-eyed gazing in longing and/or sadness gets to be a bit much.

Leave it to the Internet court jesters at Bad Lip Reading to make those handful of moments a lot more tolerable ... and entertaining. Enjoy the nonsensical and hilarious courtship between a fledgling superhero and the girl who's on his desktop wallpaper above, and let's hope their chemistry in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will be a little ... calmer.
