'21 and Over' Trailer Teases College Version of 'The Hangover'

Why did the buffalo cross the road? Somehow, it's because a bunch of university co-eds got hammered.

Behold the first trailer for the newest brainchild of "The Hangover" writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.

Co-written and directed by the duo, "21 and Over" stars Justin Chon ("Twilight") as a straight and narrow pre-med student whose buddies — Skylar Astin ("Pitch Perfect") and Miles Teller ("Project X," "Footloose") — are bound and determined to make him celebrate his 21st birthday in properly debaucherous form.

Above his father's strict instructions, Chon's Jeff Chang finds himself dragged into an evening which consists of more than just one innocent game of beer pong. Before he knows it, he's dancing with a bear book bag around his private parts in front of two (luckily well-humored) police officers and being chucked off a second story roof onto a covered pool.

As is formulaic with the "Hangover" franchise this screenwriting pair created, no one quite knows what's going on, and the morning's mission looms in the drunken balance.

Will the kid make it to the pivotal med school interview, or will his life forever be tainted by a saucy birthday bash? We'll have to wait to find out on March 1, 2013.
