Jennifer Lawrence Plays 'House' In New Horror Trailer

Neighbors: You just never know what you're going to get.

Consider, for instance, the new trailer for "The House at the End of the Street." On the one hand, you could end up with "The Hunger Games" superstar Jennifer Lawrence as your new neighbor. On the other hand, you could also end up with a creepy house that has a serial killer locked in the basement.

Hey, you win some, you lose some. And then you die.

Fresh off of the massive success of "The Hunger Games" comes the first trailer for Lawrence's first horror movie, "The House at the End of the Street," which was actually filmed back before she took on the role of Katniss Everdeen. Co-starring Elisabeth Shue," The House at the End of the Street" (or HATES for short. No, seriously) tells the story of a mother-daughter duo who move into a new house only to learn the the welcome wagon has a severed head in it.

"The House at the End of the Street" won't hit theaters until September, but you can check the trailer out now, courtesy of MTV. It's just the neighborly thing to do:
