The blazing hotness known as Evangeline Lilly has dated a Hobbit (Dominic Monaghan) and is currently playing an Elf in the two "Hobbit" movies, but if she had to embody one mythical figure in our minds it would be Ate, the Greek goddess of discord and mischief.

Why, you ask? Well …

The co-star of this week's "Real Steel" was on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" when she let a story rip about a certain social faux pas she performed on purpose as an act of mid-air vengeance. While serving as a flight attendant with the now-defunct Royal Airlines out of her mystical homeland of Canada, Lilly became irate with a particularly testy passenger and decided to get even.

She must have eaten something that didn't sit well and "had really bad gas," and when her nasty passenger wouldn't sit well either, she farted in his face.

"This guy got under my skin to the point where I decided to save it all up, and when I was walking past him and got to row 48 …"
