Sheree Whitfield Leaves Real Housewives of Atlanta

After four seasons of weave-pulling, name-calling and dating woes on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sheree Whitfield is leaving the successful Bravo franchise.

The single mom of three, who most recently has been seen working out and struggling to get child support payments on the show (yaaaaawn!) told WetPaint.com that she felt she'd put in enough time with the series. But RadarOnline reports that Whitfield -- infamous for her line, "Who Gon' Check Me, Boo?" -- has actually been dismissed from Housewives.

"Sheree was fired," a source told Radar. "She was demanding more money and that didn't go over well with show executives. They are tired of dealing with her diva attitude and demands." Also, compared to the other women, Whitfield is dull, the source added.

Looks like Bravo may have checked her after all.

However, Whitfield claims the separation was her choice. "The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I’m tired of the fighting and the cattiness,” Sheree told Wetpaint.com. “I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect. I wish the rest of the women the best of luck. I’m thrilled to say I’m now a free agent and am already fielding offers.”

Happy trails, Sheree. We fully expect Marlo Hampton fill your slot in the opening credits next season.
