Tori Spelling, talk show host? The multi-hyphenate mom, author, gay icon and reality TV star is setting her sights on a new venture on ABC.

The project is described as a talk show version of Will & Grace, and we could totally get behind this -- Tori having endeared herself through her warts-and-all Oxygen show and best-selling memoirs -- if only we believed that she has the TIME to devote to a daily program. Really?

Spelling, who could fairly be described as a perfectionist with obsessive and compulsive tendencies, is chatty and straightforward and often inappropriate, all of which would make her a great talk show host. But she's already working around the clock while trying to be the perfect mom, as documented in her reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

At any rate, the project seems to moving forward, as sources tell Variety that Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis has been tapped to be the Will to Tori's Grace. The pair reportedly had good chemistry during a recent test pilot.
