MTV's "True Life: My Parents Are In Porn" followed two young people who are struggling to come to terms with their folks' scandalous jobs. We had an opportunity to check in with Talia and Chandler to see how their lives have changed since filming wrapped. Take a look at our follow-up Q&As below:

Talia

How has it been studying for your LSATs since the show? Have you taken the test yet?

I stopped studying for the LSAT and moved to the GRE because I changed my goals for school. I'm applying to graduate school and not law school. I want to get my master's in criminology and eventually my PhD. I should be taking the test in the next few months.

How do you feel about having considered going into the porn industry now? Would you ever reconsider?

I feel kind of silly. The industry is not something I want to be in. Not my passion. Not my interest. I was just considering to continue what my dad had already built. I wouldn't reconsider. I don't want to be anywhere near the industry, honestly. I see that there are good people, but some producers and agents are slimy. I don't want that atmosphere.

What is your dad doing now?

My dad has continued to stay out of the porn industry. He is currently working on music with various bands and continues writing books.

Do you have any new perspective on the business after getting so close to it?

Only perspective I have is that I'm glad I didn't have to do it. If there's one thing I learned, it was to stick with your passions. For my dad, it's the music. For me, it's criminology. So I'm sticking with what I love.

What is your next move from here?

I just moved into a new apartment, a really nice one. Still at the same job. I'm studying for the GRE, and I'm going to start applying for my master's programs.

Chandler

How has life been since the show?

Life has been pretty normal since the show, and not much has changed. I lost my job at the deli, and now I’m just enjoying the free time and hanging out with friends and applying to college.

Have your parents had you get another test since then?

NO! We are pretty secure since the first one. I would take another test, but I am pretty positive I’m not positive.

Are you dating anyone now? How have they reacted to your parents being in the business?

It’s complicated. I am talking to this girl right now -- could be serious, but who knows. When I told her my stepmom is a porn star, she was surprised, but it didn’t seem to bother her. No one ever seems bothered when you first tell them. She is very accepting, but I’m sure it would be problematic if I told her that’s what I do for a job.

When do you graduate from high school? What are you plans when that happens?

I am hopefully graduating this year, and I am applying to Cal State University. I want to take some psychology and criminology classes and see if that’s what I want to get into. I would love to help people out, especially youth.

Now that you are almost 18, would you ever consider a career in the adult entertainment business?

I can’t say that I would, especially with the knowledge of my parents’ experience. There are better opportunities awaiting me than that.
