If there’s one thing we’ve learned from Grimes’ vault of music videos, it’s that you should always expect the unexpected. Each clip Claire Boucher’s released — from the bloody “Flesh Without Blood” to the homemade “Realiti" — is packed with eye-catching surrealism, revealing a different cavern of Grimes’ wild imagination.

Her latest vid, for the Art Angels track “Kill V. Maim,” is no exception. Released Tuesday (Jan. 19), the vid takes you inside a sinister fantasyland that’s equal parts cyberpunk and “Mad Max.” Like her other vids, this one has some serious sci-fi undertones. So much so, that we’re challenging you to tell the difference between scenes from classic sci-fi flicks and scenes from Grimes' videos.
