Taylor Swift Took Her Entire 125-Member Squad On Vacation

Generosity never goes out of style.

When someone refers to Taylor Swift’s squad, they’re usually talking about the gaggle of gorgeous girls who show up in her music videos and on the red carpet.

But there’s only one crew who’s been by Taylor’s side for eight months, on four different continents, for 85 shows. Yep, we’re talking about her dedicated 1989 Tour crew. And lest you think Taylor takes their hard work for granted, rest assured she’s capping off her massive world tour in the kindest possible way: by taking all 125 crew members on an island vacation.

Before her final six shows in Australia next week, Taylor made her crew’s “wildest dreams” come true by treating them to a getaway on Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef. In a sweet Instagram post, Taylor shared a group photo and thanked her hard-working buds.

“So stoked to be able to take my band and crew on a vacation at the end of a long and wonderful tour,” Taylor wrote in the caption. “For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it. Thank you to Hamilton Island for taking such great care of 125 of the people who work tirelessly to make sure the 1989 World Tour stage gets built, the lights are on, the costumes are made, the guitars are tuned, and the show goes on.”

Taylor’s 1989 World Tour wraps in Dec. 12 in Melbourne, the day before her 26th birthday. And despite having plenty to celebrate this year, she also took the opportunity to shut down reports in the Australian press of “a celebrity-studded birthday bash,” saying she plans to keep the festivities quiet.

“Aussie press, I love your enthusiasm but my birthday isn't for 2 weeks and it'll be a quiet one this year. Let's take it down a notch :),” she wrote on Instagram.

While Down Under, Taylor also took a scenic road trip with her family and buddied up with a cockatoo. Because clearly her squad isn’t limited to humans.
