Amongst all the jet-skis and boats from the "Water World" ride and a few other cars, there were a lot of wrecks just laid to rest in the dirt. But then, as Akshay and I looked closer we saw the back of one of the most unmistakable cars of all time: the DeLorean.

Yes, sitting in a junk-car yard in the corner of the Universal Studios lot lies what we're pretty sure is one of the actual DeLoreans from "Back to the Future." We had to get a closer look. The exterior of the car was in pretty good shape, although it was covered in a thick layer of dust and dirt from sitting in the sun for what looks like years -- big shame. The two giant vents that stick out the back, and all the other components necessary for time travel, were all in pretty good shape. Although the interior was very sun-damaged, the blue leather was in one piece. And before you ask, I know what you're thinking, and yes, the iconic flux capacitor and the keypad where the Doc punches in the year are still there.

We quickly snapped some pics for everyone to share in our excitement before the security guards busted us. Note to whoever runs the Universal Studio lot: Rescue the DeLorean, please!
