Then today, actress Stacey Dash, who starred with Brittany (both pictured with Alicia Silverstone) in the breakout comedy "Clueless," addressed fans, "I am deeply saddened by Brittneys death. She was a bright shining light and I am sorry that we will not get to watch her grow. As an actress she was an inspiration. So good. I will always remember her laugh, it was infectious." Stacey continued, "I am SO sad :( I don't want to believe it! I won't turn on the TV...Please pray for her Mother (her family)." Peter Facinelli who worked with Britt on the 2001 Drew Barrymore-dramedy "Riding in Cars With Boys" wrote of his late friend, "Brittany Murphy... U were Bold, Brave, and Beautiful. Thank you 4 being the free spirit u were, and always putting a smile on my face."

It seems even those who spent a little bit of time with the actress were greatly effected by her presence. Eliza Dushku shared about her time with her posting, " My heart aches having just learned of Brittany Murphy's death. We were friends time-to-time thru the yrs. I always admired her pure spirit." As did Aisha Tyler, who tweeted, "Woke up this am to hear about Brittany Murphy. Hung with her several times; she was a sweet, sweet girl. I hope she's found peace." While many reflected on the starlet's all too brief acting career (KeKe Palmer wrote, "I remember watching her on one of my favorite TV shows Sister Sister, she was a great actress,much love, RIP"), others pointed out her vast array of talents, including Kat DeLuna who recalled, "How many remember 'Faster Kill Pussycat' by Paul Oakenfold feat. Brittany Murphy? Besides acting she was a great singer."
