Happy Valentine's Day, y'all! Whether you're the type of person to go all out for February 14 or just wait patiently for the candy to go on sale tomorrow, we've got a VDay gift everyone will appreciate. The boys from Passion Pit dropped their new video for "Carried Away" this morning, co-starring Sophia Bush as half of a young couple dealing with the euphoric highs and depressing lows of a relationship. And —spoiler alert!— while Sophia and frontman Michael Angelakos's lovey dovey vibes might not last, at least she looks great throughout the whole thing...even when she's smearing lipstick on her face or wielding a scary knife. The manic pixie dream girl secret? According to stylist Leila Baboi, this result involves over TWENTY outfit changes, mostly from emerging designers.

"Over the two days of filming I believe I put Sophia in over two dozen looks," she told us over email yesterday. "I styled Sophia in the French brand Paul and Joe, the LA brand Elkin designed by sisters Brit and Kara, a reworked vintage dress from the Reformation, and a little black dress from Katie Ermilio, and couple '60s throwback tops from the Thai designer Angelys Balek. For the remainder of the costuming and styling I sourced vintage designer pieces from Golyester, What Goes Around Comes Around, Decades, and Resurrection.

The video follows the couple through the eventual unraveling of their tight-knit relationship, which means WE get to witness Sophia in tons of cute clothes, including classic LBDs, plaid skirts, and printed dresses galore. And while Leila says that her style inspiration came from '60s French films like Jean-Luc Godard's Breathless and Band of Outsiders, the couple's problems here are timeless. Fights might be the WORST, but thanks to Passion Pit and their new video, who knew a messy breakup could be so stylish?
