Dixie Chicks Are Going On Tour And We're Ready To Run (To Get Tickets)

We'll be arrivin' on a sin wagon next summer.

Cowboy take us away -- to see The Dixie Chicks!

The country-pop trio, Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Robison, has announced the group is reuniting for an MMXVI World Tour in 2016! (Not coincidentally the Roman Numeral tour title translates to 2016.)

The Dixie Chicks were on top of the world back in the late '90s and early aughts, churning out hit after hit at a speed even Taylor Swift would envy.

"It's been 10 years since we toured the U.S.," the ladies teased in their exciting announcement video.

The tour will kick off on April 16 in Belgium and make way to the U.S. on June 1st and run (and have some funnnnnn) 'til Oct. 10th when they'll hit the Hollywood Bowl in L.A.

So, go ahead and cancel all your plans for the rest of the day and relive the essential Dixie Chicks' anthology of awesome.

"Cowboy Take Me Away"

"Oh it sounds so good to me" -- exactly.

"Wide Open Spaces"

This tune was all about braving the wild unknown and being prepared to fall and get right back up with that go girl grit we came to know and love from DCX.

"Goodbye Earl"

Revenge plotting meets sing-song twang, and it was GOLD.

"Not Ready to Make Nice"

If you were "still mad as hell" about your break-up circa summer 2006, this was your anthem.

"Travelin' Soldier"

Sad song is sad.

"Landslide"

Stevie Nicks was the originator of this soulful track, but the Dixie Chicks gave it a country spin, and it worked.

"You Were Mine"

Heartbreak is kinda beautiful, no?

"Sin Wagon"

Every once in a while the Dixie Chicks stepped out of Sorrow City and had some boot-shaking fun like this. Loveeee.

"There's Your Trouble"

Another lovelorn lullaby from the ladies that did it best.

"Ready to Run"

You probably remember this one for its perfect placement on the "Runaway Bride" soundtrack, but we remember it for its excellent instrumentals. Fiddle, penny whistle, banjo and go.

"I Can Love You Better"

She can love you better, unnamed satin and lace-lady lover.

"Cold Day in July"

This break-up song is also SOB SOB SOB. Stop it (but actually don't).

"Without You"

Seriously with this -- and we didn't even wear waterproof mascara.

"Hello Mr. Heartache"

"I've been expecting you/Come in and wear your welcome out/The way you always do" -- story of our LIVES (not really, but it sure felt that way when this jam hit).
