The game is based on the manga by Hajime Isayama as well as the subsequent anime adaptation by Wit Studio and Production I.G. The series tells of an enclosed society which protects itself from massive, man-eating Titans using not only huge, stone walls, but a high-flying defense force which uses a wire transport system to zip around and fight their invaders. The series hero, Eren Yeager, is a young man desperate to protect his home and avenge the death of his mother once the Titans breach the wall of his kingdom for the first time in 100 years.

"Attack on Titan" will be available on the 3DS December 5th in Japan. No word on an official Western release.
