Handheld Neo Geo X Console Confirmed For Q2 Release!
The rumors have been flying around for a few months now, but as of last week the NeoGeo X handheld console has been confirmed for worldwide release. Blaze, who's produced several Genesis (MegaDrive) handhelds, is overseeing production under SNK's license.
Following the 20th anniversary of the ground breaking NEOGEO AES console, the NeoGeo X will be available in Q2 of 2012 and will come pre-loaded with over 20 classic NeoGeo titles including MetalSlug, The King of Fighters and Fatal Fury.
"The NEOGEO console has always been a personal favorite of mine and I am delighted to be involved with the development of this new handheld console," said Jason Cooper of Blaze. “We hope to re-ignite the excitement many of us felt twenty one years ago, in a more affordable manner, to a much wider audience."
On top of all the great games the new handheld will come with, it also features an SD card slot for increased storage, a 3.5" LCD screen, A/V output, stereo speakers and a headphone jack. Scroll down for the full list of included games!
