'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Poster: Katniss Goes Epic

Lionsgate has debuted an awesome new poster for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." In it, Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen wears her bow and arrow and stands on top of a mountain as the mockingjay symbol forms in the clouds behind her.

"The sun persists in rising, so I make myself stand," the tagline of the new poster reads. It was posted by the official "Hunger Games" Instagram account.

This is the first we've seen of "Catching Fire" since MTV premiered the trailer at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. If it's not already clear from the poster, this sequel is going to be a very different beast than its predecessor. Not only does it have a new director in the form of Francis Lawrence, but it also has a new sort of heroine.

While Katniss Everdeen was coming into her own in "The Hunger Games," here she has seen the true darkness of the Capitol and knows what she's up again. The tagline on the poster implies that she will continue to stand against Panem's government, and the image makes us think she'll be forced to use her bow and arrow once again.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is due in theaters on November 22.
