'Teen Mom 2' Featured Moment: Jenelle And Nathan Share Their Hopes For Baby Kaiser

She's come a long way, baby!

Just when they were about to throw in the towel, Jenelle and Nathan learned that the proverbial rabbit had died on tonight's "Teen Mom 2." The pregnancy test turned up positive at a complicated time for the couple, as they had recently gotten into a screaming match over Nathan's large pool of female friends, but the two were still overjoyed by the news, and vowed to work through their relationship issues and refocus their energy on becoming the best parents possible.

"I think [having a baby] is gonna bring us closer, because, if anything, we argue over little things, and if we have a baby, I think we're less likely to argue 'cause we'll be busy all the time," Jenelle assured Nathan during the episode. That's not exactly the conventional wisdom, and most parents would probably scoff at Jenelle's statement, but in the "Teen Mom 2 Featured Moment" below, she and Nathan seem to still be riding a positive wave. They have simple yet important hopes for their son, who will be named Kaiser ("In most languages it means king," Nathan explains).

"I just hope this baby's healthy and happy," Jenelle shares. "And smart," Nathan chimes in.

For Jenelle, personally, she's looking forward to proving she's capable of being a responsible caretaker, especially after receiving much backlash when she first revealed her pregnancy through the MTV Shows Blog in December. "I just want everyone to be happy for me, congratulate me, and be excited for me -- for once," she says.

Jenelle's made her fair share of bad decisions in the past, so it may take a while for viewers to trust that she's sincere, but as the saying goes, actions speak louder than words. The best way for Jenelle to prove her critics wrong is to show she's up to the task of being a stable, sober mother of two. Think she can do it?
