Congrats are in order for the cast of "Girl Meets World." The Wrap confirmed today that Disney has officially asked for eight additional episodes of the show, bringing the total number to a full-season order of 21! Well, we can't say we're too shocked by the news, considering the series generated a ton of buzz from the mere whisper that Cory and Topanga might return to the small screen. However, now that the wheels are fully in motion, we're more amped than ever for the series premiere!

Danielle Fishel has also been relishing in the moment, tweeting to fans, "Can't wait for everyone to see them all." Bet she gave her husby first notice, though! Rowan Blanchard, who will star as Cory and Topanga's daughter in the spin-off, also shared with her followers how she learned of the happy news. "By the way, last night at the taping @GMWWriters announced that #GirlMeetsWorld was picked up for eight more episodes!!! SO happy!" she wrote. She then added, "Guys, I LOVE MY CAST." Clearly they've already become one big, happy family off-screen. If it's any indication, their on-screen chemistry will be perfection, as well. Now if they'd just give us a premiere date to circle on our calendars...
