'Generation Cryo' Road Diaries: Bree And Her Mom Get Sentimental On Graduation Day

Scientific breakthroughs in human fertility are constantly redefining what it means to be a family, and when "Generation Cryo" premieres on November 25 at 10/9c, we'll follow 17-year-old Breeanna on her quest to meet her biological father -- an anonymous sperm donor -- as well as her 15 half-siblings. Before joining Bree on her journey of self-discovery and modern family bonding, we're giving you a weekly peek at some of the video-diary entries she taped along the way.

Whether their parenting principles lean on the strict or loose side of the spectrum, all parents turn into blubbery messes upon their child's high school graduation. Not only is it a major milestone, but it's a precursor to becoming an official (gasp!) adult, and in Bree's latest video diary, she takes a moment to connect with her mom, who's feeling rather emotional about the big event, before putting on her cap and gown.

"How do you feel about me graduating?" Bree asks Sherry from behind the camera. Sherry responds with genuine, heartfelt reflections on how far her daughter has come, admitting that she feels the day has arrived too soon. "I think I want you back about 12 or 13 years old...to have more time with you," she says. In fact, Bree will soon set off on her personal journey to find some of her 15 half-siblings and possibly meet her sperm-donor father, leaving her mother behind indefinitely.

Despite the obvious sadness of closing the chapter on her daughter's childhood, Sherry wants Bree to know one thing: "I'm extremely proud of you," she says, before swallowing the lump that's slowly forming in her throat. Mommm, save it for the ceremony!

Check out the video, and tune in to the "Generation Cryo" premiere tonight at 10/9c!
