Pencil us in early, guys!

The dates for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, Movie Awards, and Woodies have now been circled on the official MTV calendars, as of Wednesday (Oct. 21), and we want you all to be there. The VMAs will be back in action on Sunday, August 28, 2016, so be sure to tune in at 9 p.m. ET/PT for the main event.

Looking to get in on the pre-show action? That starts at 8 p.m., so if you're hoping to catch the stars of the evening on the red carpet before they head into Madison Square Garden, be sure to change the channel on the early side!

Meanwhile, all our favorite flicks'll duke it out for the top spot at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, April 10th -- but it'll be the Woodies which kick things off at SXSW on Wednesday, March 16th.
