21 Celebs Who Made 'Star Wars' Fashion Look Super Stylish
Think "Star Wars" is just a weird old franchise for giant nerds? I don't know where you get your delusions, laser-brain -- even if there weren't another huge movie hitting theaters this December and bringing back all our nostalgic feelings for the lightsabers and droids, "Star Wars" would still be totally mainstream.
Don't believe me? Just look at all the famous celebrities who've gotten styling tips and outfit ideas from the fantastical, futuristic world of George Lucas -- and the ones who've proudly proclaimed their love of the "Star Wars" fandom by straight-up wearing cosplay in public.
Christina Hendricks
The former "Mad Men" star rocked a pair of buns at the "Drive" premiere during the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2011.
Katy Perry
She's never worn the full Leia bikini look in public, but she definitely has the accompanying hairstyle down.
Jennifer Lawrence
Meanwhile, our favorite Girl on Fire once rocked another hairstyle of Leia's, namely the braided updo she wore on Hoth and Endor in "Empire Strikes Back" and "Return Of The Jedi."
Shia Labeouf
Remember that one time Shia was a padawan in training? No?
Kim Kardashian
What have you done to Chewbacca, you monster?!
Sam Claflin
No wonder this guy shows up on so many dreamcasting lists for young Han Solo -- dude can rock an open shirt and vest combo like he was born to smuggle spices from the Kessel mines in it.
Anne Hathaway
If C-3PO and Padmé Amidala had a baby together, it would be this hooded Ralph Lauren gown Anne Hathaway wore to the Met Gala this year.
Cate Blanchett
One can only assume that Blanchett was stopping by the London premiere of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" by while on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan. How else to explain the Leia-like dress?
Chris Hemsworth
I very vividly remember how distracting it was watching livetweeting sessions of the 2014 Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con specifically because Thor was dressed as Han Solo. And look, it continues to be distracting now! (Especially since it's literally the same outfit Sam Claflin's wearing above... you think the two swapped fashion tips on the set of "Snow White And The Huntsman?")
Kristen Wiig
Wiig wore a Darth Vader-inspired gown to the 2009 Emmys, because she's the best person ever. For some reason this put her on all the worst dressed lists that year because people are FOOLS and do not understand the POWER of the FORCE.
Chris Colfer
Of course Chris Colfer owns a backpack shaped like Chewabacca. Of course he does.
Julia Roberts
Roberts has not one but two Preen garments that depict Darth Vader on them, which she wears on TV to make her nerdy sons happy.
Kristen Dunst
That's no moon! It's a Death Star-inspired Rodarte gown Dunst wore to the Met costume gala in 2014.
Rowan Blanchard (And Her Whole Crew)
Not only did all of the Disney Channel's biggest stars -- Rowan Blanchard, Olivia Holt, Piper Curda, Kelli Berglund, Skai Jackson and G. Hannelius -- meet up to tour Lucasfilm last year, but they also got to rock the BEST "Star Wars" outfits during a photo shoot to promote "Star Wars Rebels." Jealous.
Ty Simpkins
The "Iron Man 3" and "Jurassic World" star continued to prove his nerd cred earlier this year by cosplaying as Luke Skywalker in "The Empire Strikes Back" during Star Wars Celebration. Look, he's even got a Yoda on his back!
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting
Jedi don't really ride horses that we know of, but that didn't stop Cuoco-Sweeting from participating in a "Star Wars"-themed equestrian event while dressed as Luke Skywalker.
Tina Fey
Fey's "30 Rock" character, Liz Lemon, got married in a Princess Leia outfit. Which isn't really fair because she's also a hologram? (Or at least, that's what she used to tell the Chicago court system to get out of jury duty.)
Daniel Radcliffe
This was for a Halloween episode of "Ellen," mind you, but given that Degeneres let Radcliffe keep the costume at the end of the interview, we bet he wears it all the time now. Why wouldn't you? It's Boba Fett.
Emma Stone
Stone, along with a whole host of other actors like Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, recreated iconic scenes from the series for Stand Up To Cancer's 2011 viral video. But Emma Stone clearly rocked the buns the best out of all of 'em.
Jennifer Aniston
A lot of famous women have donned the iconic gold bikini on and off TV, but obviously nobody worked it as well as Rachel on "Friends" did when she used the look to seduce Ross.
Ashley Eckstein
Of course we'd be remiss if we didn't mention "Star Wars Rebels" voice actress Ashley Eckstein (maybe you remember her as Muffy on "That's So Raven"), who literally runs her own nerdy-themed clothing company called Her Universe and who recently wore a couture Princess Leia dress on the runway at Comic Con. Truly the force is strong with her.
