You want l'intrigue? They'll give you l'intrigue.

Taking a break from the all party girl all the time image, the ladies of Icona Pop show off a more bittersweet side in their new video for "Just Another Night." While the track is just as infectious as past anthems like "I Love It," "Girlfriend," and "All Night," the latest This Is... Icona Pop single is definitely more sobering than its debauched predecessors -- despite what that bottle-popping still up top might lead you to believe.

Caught in a love triangle with a dreamy Italian man in Paris, our deux Suédoises alternate between putting on a brave, fun-loving front together in public and dropping their guards in private behind closed doors.

Director Marc Klasfeld, who shot the clip in gloriously Nouvelle Vague-reminiscent black and white, was wise to center the concept on these lyrics: "There's gotta be a way between us/ Tearing down our walls of secrets." Obviously, Caroline and Aino aren't always "I don't care" status, but it's nice to see it firsthand.

Another cool thing to notice is how varied and international the settings of Icona Pop's videos have been. With three major globetrotting gigs on the horizon -- their headlining North American tour in December with K.Flay and Sirah, opening for Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour with Sky Ferreira from February to April, and supporting the U.K. leg of Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour in May -- we hope they'll get a chance to set even more of their travels to music.
