Florida emo-rockers We The Kings are still on the way up fame's fickle ladder, so they probably don't have to deal with too many photographers stalking their every move and constantly sticking flashbulbs in their faces—or have they?

The group recently took time out from touring behind their latest album Smile Kid, and performed an acoustic cover of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" for Billboard's Mash-Up Monday web feature. Using the simple arrangement of bongos and acoustic guitars, We The Kings get to the lovelorn-and-lonely heart of Gaga's tune, which is an aspect that often gets overlooked by the song's musical bells and whistles.
