"Fast And Furious" series star Paul Walker would have turned 42 today (Sept. 12). To commemorate the day, his daughter, Meadow, posted a touching photo of the pair to Instagram.

"Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill," she wrote in the caption.

The teenage Meadow has posted similarly moving tributes to her father, who died in November 2013, on his birthday last year and earlier this year on Father's Day. And we've gotten equally misty-eyed at all of them.

But this year, Meadow wanted to do something...bigger: "I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood," she continued.

The Paul Walker Foundation, founded by Meadow, will continue Paul's philanthropic efforts of preserving oceans and providing scholarships for students and researchers who do oceanic work.
