Alessia Cara Drops Debut EP ‘Four Pink Walls’ Two Days Early

Along with these sweet DIY videos.

Whether she's flawlessly covering Taylor Swift or reworking "Hotline Bling" with a seal of approval from Drizzy himself, Alessia Cara has remained firm on our rising star radar.

Still, with the exception of her breakout hit "Here," we hadn't heard much original material from the 19-year-old Canadian. Until today (Aug. 26), when Cara decided to pull a fast one on her fans, dropping her debut EP Four Pink Walls two days ahead of its release date.

Even better, the four unreleased tracks -- "Outlaws," "I'm Yours," "Seventeen," and title track "Four Pink Walls" -- each feature an accompanying video, shot DIY-style by Cara herself.

Four Pink Walls runs the full gamut of influences, from contemporary pop and electro to vintage soul. Throughout, Cara's voice is dreamy while still maintaining that gritty texture we've grown to love -- but with the enhancement of clever, homemade visuals, the EP becomes more than a stream, but an experience.
