The Rock Says He's Still Looking For His 'Baywatch' Babes: 'They All Want To Be C.J.'

The Rock promises lots of "badass action" and "dirty humor" in "Baywatch."

When Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced that he would be teaming up with Zac Efron to bring "Baywatch" to the big screen, the universe collectively cheered.

Not only does Johnson get to break out the baby oil for this fun, R-rated beach romp, but we get to see Zefron shirtless too! This could quite possibly be the greatest (read: hunkiest) movie of all time. With a legacy like that on the table, Johnson knows he has to get it right.

"We've all taken great care, and steps, into making sure that we do it right," Johnson told MTV News at Disney's D23 fan convention, where he was promoting his new Disney animated film "Moana." "We hired really great writers. We have a really director on board, Seth Gordon... he's got a great vision."

But if this sumbitch was going to make a "Baywatch" movie, he was going to do it his way -- raunchy AF.

"We want to make a big movie -- a fun beach movie," the actor-producer said. "[We want to] bring the beach movie back to the world, but also have something that has edge and has badass action and really dirty, rated-R humor, which is right in my wheelhouse."

Being a producer also has its perks, especially when it comes to casting. Perhaps the most iconic image that people have of "Baywatch" is Pamela Anderson's C.J. Parker in her famous red swimsuit. So, which Hollywood starlet with be the Anderson to The Rock's Hoff?

"The casting of 'Baywatch' has become such a thing," Johnson said. "We've cast Zac Efron, and now this is the fun thing about it. Who's going to play C.J.? I can't tell you the amount of calls we've been getting from the most gorgeous actresses and models in the world, from their agents and managers. They all want to be C.J."

Can you really blame them? Brb, calling our agents immediately.
